"When I found The Lions Whelp, I not only found my charming and handsome red Maine Coon kitten that I named Rudolph; but I found a mentor and a friend.
Gloria is extremely professional and knowledgeable, she will share that knowledge with you with an open heart. Her kittens are the highest quality and impeccably taken care of. Her business approach, honest and so sincere. I brought Rudolph home in December 2018; and now in March 2019, he is an irreplaceable part of the family, well adjusted and gorgeous!
Don't hesitate to choose The Lions Whelp, you won't be disappointed and most of all, you can trust that you will receive a beautifully bred, healthy, classic Maine Coon."
- Becky Lauk from Nebraska for "Rudolph" from our 2018 Captain/Minx litter.
"My home and heart are shared with Gideon. He does live up to his name, as well. Gloria’s kittens are so wonderfully socialized. Gideon is my third Maine Coon. My two others are very sweet, but he is exceptionally social with anyone. He’s so outgoing and confident. He loves to fetch and entertain. My life has been so enriched with him in it. He is a gorgeous shaded silver and weighs 14#. Gideon was born in July 2013.
We cannot thank Lion’s Whelp enough for our boy. Gloria was such a pleasure to work with and update us as we waited on our kitten. She is certainly considered my friend. When ready for another MC, it will come from The Lion’s Whelp."
- Janice Oattis from Mississippi for "Gideon" from our 2013 Layla/Lojac litter.
"He shows off for us every day, we have fallen deeply in love with him! Beautifully shiny, and talks to us constantly, he's an amazing addition to the family. Thanks so much for producing our new family member!"

"The Lion's Whelp was fantastic to work with through the adoption process. They provided clear communication, regular weekly updated photos while we waited for the kittens to get old enough to be brought to their new home, and excellent vet report info (our vet commented that the records were immaculate and we were lucky to work with them). The kittens themselves have a great temperament, were healthy at the time of adoption and have continued to be healthy and happy now two months after adoption. We had adopted a pair of kittens previously, and this experience was better in absolutely every way!"

"I was nervous buying a kitten from out of town; I am thankful that I found Gloria and The Lions Whelp. Gloria was wonderful to work with during the process of purchasing my beautiful Athena. We have had Athena since she was a kitten (litter 10/2017) Athena has always been healthy, happy and a little mischievous. Maine Coons have such unique personalities and are wonderful cats. I would not hesitate to purchase another kitten from The Lions Whelp."

"I purchased my female Maine Coon, Katrina, from Lion's Whelp. I couldn't be happier with the transaction. I had excellent communication with the owner of the cattery. Gloria kept my well informed of the status of my kitten on a frequent basis prior to my taking possession of her, with up to date photos and phone conversations. The kitten was healthy and well socialized, and made an excellent addition to my home. I would recommend without hesitation Lion's Whelp to anyone wanting to acquire a quality Maine Coon."
- David Smith from Tennessee for "Katrina" from our 2016 Tigger/Layla litter
"We began the search to add a Maine Coon to our family in the spring of 2018. After plenty of research and what seemed like endless phone calls to catteries, we came across The Lion’s Whelp online. After one call with Gloria I knew we had found the right one. She stayed in regular communication with us until the day we brought Siri home; uploading weekly photos and sending more anytime we asked. We were several hours away so visiting Siri was not an option, but thanks to Gloria we felt like she was part of the family before we held her the first time. It was easy to tell that she was well looked after, she has been a loving “little” snuggler since day one. For anyone looking to add a kitten to their home, we highly recommend working with The Lion’s Whelp!"
- Debi Brown from Kentucky for "Siri Bellatrix" from our 2018 Captian/Sonora litter.
"If you're looking for a Maine coon, this is the place. Both kittens that I have gotten from the Lions Whelp have been the best kittens and have grown to be the best cats. As young kitten they were confident, sweet, friendly. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this Breeder. I know that I will always recommend the Lions Whelp."
- Catherine Brown from Tennessee for Dexter from our Lojac/Layla 2013 litter and Finley
"It seems so many people LOVE dogs. Well, our family has always loved cats. Not just any cat, but those special Siamese, Persian, Himalayan, and especially Maine Coon. Our search began about a year and a half ago for a Maine Coon. My parents have always wanted one of these “big” kitties. But little did we know we would fall in love like we did with “Tank”.
Searching the internet, there are so many sites and people out to make fast and easy cash. One has to be careful not to get caught up in the first deal you see at a good price. We wanted a pure bred Maine Coon who was born and raised in a good home, had his/her papers, shots, and good disposition. Gloria was all that and more!
From our first communication with Gloria we could tell she knew her stuff and was experienced with these cats. She wasn’t quick to sell Tank to us. She asked us as many questions as we asked her. She loves these cats unconditionally and wants them to find great homes. Her attention to detail and follow up was excellent and communication including pictures and progress with growth and development was wonderful.
Gloria ensured Tank had his shots, vet visits and follow up timely. Upon agreeing to sell him to my parents, she noted his sale on the internet page and officially named him Tank as we wanted. You see, Tank is a perfect name for him b/c he is a big kitty, a tank in our opinion, but a beautiful loving fluffy Tank. His paws and tail are huge compared to any kitty I grew up with. His purr box is simply magnificent and he has the sweetest little “meow” that is loud and yet loving. He seems to know if it’s a bad day and snuggle next to you to offer comfort. He adores ice cubes and runs to the kitchen when he hears ice going into a glass. One of my favorite things about Tank is how he adores my dad. Follows him like a shadow.
We have come up with additional nicknames for Tank (i.e Tanker McManker, T Tank, Tanker). My kids race to be the first one in Mimi and Pop Pop’s house to get to Tank – yes, he’s THAT important. He causes much excitement at the Feeder’s Supply pet store when we venture out with him to get snacks, treats, and toys. Yeah, he’s a little spoiled but rightly so.
Tank has brought so much joy, love, gentleness, to our family. We hope to get him a cousin one day….but until then we will love and adore our Tank unconditionally because that is what he brings to us."
